Construction Scope is a web app — no native install. If a crew member sees stale data (yesterday's hours not showing, a job missing, a change order they signed not showing as signed), the fix is almost always a refresh of the cached version. Real account-state issues are rare; this is what to try first.

Hard refresh

On iOS Safari: hold the reload button → Reload Without Content Blockers. On Android Chrome: pull down on the page until you see the refresh spinner; release. Forces the latest version of the page from our servers, bypassing any cached content the browser was holding.

If hard refresh doesn't fix it, the browser may have a deeper cached copy. Try clearing site data.

Clear site data

Mobile browser → Settings → Site settings → constructionscope.net → Clear and reset. Heavier hammer but fixes 99% of cases. After clearing, you'll need to log in again — that's the trade-off, and it usually resolves the sync issue completely.

On iOS: Safari → Settings → Advanced → Website Data → search constructionscope.net → Edit → Delete. Then close Safari completely (swipe up from the app switcher) and reopen.

Add to home screen

Tapping the home-screen shortcut sometimes opens an old cached version. Re-add: open in the browser fresh → Share → Add to Home Screen. Replaces the cached shortcut with a fresh one. This is also the right way to set up a new crew member's phone.

If multiple crew members on multiple phones see the same stale data, it's not a cache issue — see escalation below.

When to escalate

If the same crew member sees stale data on two devices, or multiple crew members see stale data simultaneously, it's an account-state issue, not a cache issue. Email support with the affected user's email, the specific data they expected to see, and what they're seeing instead. We can usually identify the issue in our database within minutes.
