Construction Scope is a tool for running a contracting business honestly. This policy describes what you can't use it for. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
1. Don't break the law
Don't use Construction Scope to do anything illegal — fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, deceptive billing practices, or unlicensed contracting work where a license is required.
2. Don't abuse customers
Don't use Construction Scope to send unsolicited bulk email ("spam") to people who haven't asked to hear from you. Don't impersonate a customer, vendor, or another contractor. Don't bill for work you didn't perform.
3. Don't abuse the platform
No malware, no phishing, no scraping, no probing for security vulnerabilities without authorization (use our bug bounty instead). Don't reverse-engineer the service or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
4. Don't host inappropriate content
You may attach photos and documents related to your jobs. Don't upload content that's illegal, depicts violence or sexual content, contains hate speech, or violates someone else's intellectual property.
5. Reporting violations
If you suspect abuse, email abuse@constructionscope.net. Security issues go to security@constructionscope.net or through our bug bounty.
6. Enforcement
We investigate reports and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy. We aim to give notice and a chance to correct the issue when reasonable, but we may act immediately for serious violations.
